"Human to Human – an Opportunity to Give" was founded in 2003 in the Israeli Gay community. Since then our organization has grown and now numbers dozens of volunteers from all walks of life.
"Human to Human – an Opportunity to Give" is involved in many activities designed to help the Israeli community. Our goal is to provide charity to as many needy people and organizations as possible while eradicating the walls between those who give and those who receive, making giving more accessible.

Several times a year, we hold charity events whereby we collect and give away (for a symbolic cost of 2 shekels per item) clothes, toys, baby items and household items. Our events usually take place at the Tel Aviv Gay Community Center at "Gan Meir "  (Meir Garden)where for a few days the main hall is transformed into a huge "boutique".

As we want to make everyone feel as if they are taking part of a shopping experience and not of being of need, of giving and taking at the same time, we try to give all events the store atmosphere with a cash register and a packaging corner just as you see in the mall.

At the end of each such charity event, surplus items are all given away to non-profit and volunteer organizations such as "Windows", "Humans without Borders", "Beit Dror" and more.

"Human to Human – an Opportunity to Give" regularly supports the unrecognized Beduin settelments  in the Habsor region of Israel.

Our other activities:

· Collecting and distributing of Hygene products to the homeless who live on the streets of Tel Aviv.

· Holiday parties and celebration for the "Chimes Israel" for special needs children and adults.

· Money donations to organizations who help the needy and the destitute such as: "Beit Danny", "Beit Dror" a half-way home for gay teens, "The Gay Deaf Organizion", "ARDC" for African refugees etc.

· Support of organizations who take care of African refugees mainly hostels for pregnant women refugees. We help in maintenance of refugee centers and hostels, collecting and distribution of food and clothing, especially for babies and small children.

Like the name says – we are always looking for a chance to give and will continue to do so to the best of our ability.
